I once took an online Reiki Class because I believe in harnessing good energy. The value of bringing good energy to the table is always recognized but it is a hidden force. Everyone knows when they have a person around them that has good energy, but some may not recognize what it takes for that person to harness that good energy, to bring it with them the entire time they are in your presence; and much less to drop it at your feet. Reiki seems to bring to the conscious mind how to do this. What little I took from my Reiki class I practice before my clients enter the room. My desire for my clients is that they enter my massage space and lay down their burdens for an hour or so. My expectation is that whatever good energy I can harness is experienced by them while they are in my presence. It is my hope that they can refer back to the memory of getting the massage from me with clarity and good feeling.
